Continuous Display with Mitra
We start by describing the implementation
techniques of Mitra for a configuration that treats
the d available disks as a single disk drive.
This discussion introduces EVEREST [GIZ96],
Mitra's file system, and motivates a PM-driven scheduling
paradigm that provides feedback from a PM to the Scheduler to
control the rate of data production.
Subsequently, we discuss an implementation of
the staggered striping [BGMJ94] technique.
